MOSES (Members Owned Social Enterprise & Services) is a Social Enterprise that aims to provide employment for persons with psychiatric conditions. It is partnership driven and managed by members and staff of Singapore Anglican Community Services (SACS).
Individuals of psychiatric disabilities often face difficulties in getting jobs - the major hurdles include the employers' unwillingness to employ people with psychiatric disabilities as well as their frequent medical appointments. MOSES was specially created for clients to showcase their own products and services to the community.
It is also a platform that helps develop a keen sense of entrepreneurial spirit amongst SACS' clients. Profits from the sale of the products are given to the clients who produced them.
